GRADY COUNTY, OK – An elderly man was killed after being thrown from an ATV during an accident in Grady County yesterday, according to KOCO.
The accident occurred on County Road 1470 in Ninnekah just before 5:30 p.m. when 71-year-old John W. Reed, of Ninnekah, lost control of an ATV.
Reed, who reportedly was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, was ejected about 10 feet from the ATV.
He died of injuries sustained during the accident.
No other people were reported as injured.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the accident at this time.
