ATV driver crashes in Rocky Point, injures himself and passenger

ROCKY POINT, OK – Two people were injured after they were thrown off their ATV on Wednesday, reports Tulsa World.

Dustin T. Barney, 26, was driving the ATV and Ashley C. Stowers-Rector, 33, was the passenger.

Sometime on Wednesday, they left the roadway at the intersection of 690 Rd and 313 Ct and struck a culvert, launching the two off the vehicle.

Stowers was taken via Lifeflight to St. John’s Hospital hospital in Tulsa. She is in critical condition and has substantial injuries to her legs, arms, and head.

Barney was taken by Wagoner EMS to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa with a leg injury. He has since been released

Police are still investigating the incident.
