MOORE, OK – A police pursuit from Norman to Moore ended when a driver crashed into a water treatment plant on Thursday, according to KFOR.
The accident happened on Interstate 35 in Norman Thursday afternoon after officials received multiple calls regarding an erratic driver.
The suspect refused to pull over after an attempted traffic stop, which led to a chase down the interstate with speeds reaching over 100 miles per hour.
The chase ended when the suspect crashed his Nissan into the gate of a waste-water treatment plant in Moore.
The suspect, who was not publicly identified, was brought to the hospital for treatment before being taken into police custody.

MOORE, OK – A 4-year-old girl was found in a neighbor’s swimming pool and then taken to the hospital for treatment of possible drowning-related injuries today, according to a report by KOCO.
The accident happened this afternoon in the 700 block of Southwest Fourth Place. The child was missing for about 15 minutes and was subsequently found in a neighbor’s pool.
Emergency officials performed CPR on the girl, and they were able to detect a pulse around 7 p.m. She was then taken to the Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma City.
This is the third incident in a string of child drownings over the weekend.
