Motorcyclist near Quinlan injured after striking sign

QUINLAN, OK – Clinton Dewayne Median, 61, was hospitalized in critical condition on Wednesday after striking a sign in Woodward County, according to Woodward News.

Clinton Dewayne Medlan, 61, Medlan was riding a motorcycle on a country road two miles east of Quinlan when crashed into a warning sign after failing to negotiate a curve. The crash ejected him dozens of feet away from the motorcycle.

Emergency crews responded to the scene after receiving a call concerning the collision at 8:41 p.m.  When they arrived, they hospitalized Medlan with injuries to his head and internal organs.

Troopers believe impairment and speed may have played a factor in the crash.

Motorcyclist dies from Muskogee County crash

MUSKOGEE COUNTY, OK – A man died Sunday from injuries sustained in a Saturday crash in Muskogee County, reports Tulsa World.

Kyle Burnett, 29, was heading west on an Yamaha motorcycle when he struck a Dodge Ram driven by an unidentified 48-year-old at the intersection of 45th Ave and 133rd St.

First responders transported Burnett to the hospital in critical condition. He died Sunday from his injuries. The driver of the Dodge Ram was uninjured.
