Injuries reported following 2-vehicle rollover crash in SW OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Authorities responded to a two-vehicle rollover crash with injuries in southwest Oklahoma City yesterday, News 9 reports.

The incident happened near the intersection of SW 50th Street and S Pennsylvania Avenue, near U.S. Grant High School, when a green vehicle merged into a lane where a white vehicle was attempting to pass it.

At least two people were injured as a result, one of whom was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Fuel spill on I-40 causes traffic delays, closures in SE OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A fuel spill caused traffic delays on the interstate in southeast Oklahoma City today, according to News on 6.

The crash happened on eastbound I-40, near Choctaw Road, before 7:15 p.m.

Authorities closed one lane of the interstate and the ramp from I-40 to Choctaw as they worked the spill.

There is no word at this time as to what caused the incident.

Two-vehicle crash reported at Super 8 motel in west OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Emergency responders were called to the scene of a two-vehicle crash at the Super 8 Motel near the intersection of Interstate 40 and Meridian Avenue on Friday, according to News on 6.

Jim Gardner with SkyNews 9 reported live from a helicopter, stating the accident involved a pick-up truck that hit and went on top of a car before colliding with the motel. The collision did not appear to cause significant damage to the building.

No further details on what caused the crash or whether anyone was hurt were provided.

Vehicle totalled in crash on I-44 west in NW OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A vehicle was totalled in a crash off the side of Interstate 44 near Northwest 10th street on Wednesday morning.

Chip Maxham, a KOKH Meteorologist, tweeted about the incident at 6:36 a.m. Wednesday.

The crash was described as serious and causing heavy damage to the car. Pictures showed the damaged vehicle off the roadway north of the intersection with Northwest 10th Street.

At this time, it is unclear what caused the accident or whether any motorists were injured.

Collision blocks traffic on I-44 near S. Broadway Exit

According to the tweet by KOKH Meteorologist Chip Maxham, traffic was delayed back to Britton Road and police were on the scene by 8:14 a.m. Monday. It is not clear what caused the accident or whether anyone was injured.
