Injuries reported in single-vehicle crash on I-240 and Pennsylvania Ave

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – At least one person was hurt in a single-vehicle crash on I-240 yesterday morning, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred on eastbound I-240, near S Pennsylvania Avenue, at about 6:13 a.m., and involved one vehicle.

At least one person was injured in the collision, though authorities did not immediately release any information on their condition or identity.

The roadway was partially blocked as a result of the crash.

Update: Teen bicyclist dies after Thursday’s hit-and-run collision

BROKEN ARROW, OK – The 19-year-old bicyclist who was struck in Thursday morning’s hit-and-run in Broken Arrow has succumbed to his injuries, according to KTUL.

This is an update to a previous news story.

19-year-old Dallas Lowry was taken off life support at about 1 p.m. Friday. He was struck by a driver at about 4:45 a.m. Thursday near Elm Street and 111th Street as he was riding his bike to work.

Kylah Pumphrey, the suspected driver, then allegedly fled the scene.

She has been taken into police custody and is facing charges of leaving the scene of an accident and driving without a license.

Lowry was an organ donor, and his organs will go to help eight people in need of medical treatment.

At least one person hurt in crash on I-44 and 36th St

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – At least one person was injured during a crash on I-44 yesterday afternoon, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

The crash happened on northbound I-44, south of NW 36th Street, at about 3:30 p.m.

At least one person was reported as injured during the crash.

The right two lanes were blocked for over an hour as authorities worked to clear the wreck. By 4:51 p.m., the roadway was clear.

The crash happened on southbound I-35, near NE 10th Street, at about 6:15 p.m.

At least one person was injured in the accident. Their identity and the extent of their injuries were not made immediately available.

The right lane was blocked as a result of the crash.

No injuries from crash on I-35 in Moore that caused traffic delays

MOORE, OK – No injuries were reported after an accident in Moore that led to lane closures and traffic delays yesterday, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.


The crash occurred on southbound I-35, near 19th Street, at about 4:20 p.m.

The inside and outside lanes of the interstate were blocked as authorities worked the crash.

At this point, it is unclear what led to the crash.

OHP stated, however, that no injuries resulted from the accident.
