At least 1 person injured in crash on I-35 and 19th St in Moore

MOORE, OK – At least one person was hurt in a collision on I-35 in Moore on Friday night, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.


The collision occurred on northbound I-35, near 19th Street, at about 6:55 p.m.

At least one person was hurt in the collision, though their identity and the extent of their wounds were not immediately available.

Authorities closed the middle lane for a few hours following the crash.

By 9:09 p.m., the roadway was clear.

3 dead, woman and teen injured in fiery rollover crash on Hwy 177

ASHER, OK (POTTAWATOMIE COUNTY) – Three people were killed, and two people, including a teenager, were injured following a fiery collision on Highway 177 in Pottawatomie County yesterday morning.

According to KFOR, the crash occurred on US-177, near Turkey Hill Road in Asher, at about 6:05 a.m., when a man driving a Nissan went over the center line and collided head-on with a 2010 Honda Odyssey.

The impact caused the Honda to spin out and the Nissan to overturn, landing upside-down in a ditch. The Nissan then burst into flames.

The driver of the Nissan and his passenger died in the crash. They were not immediately identified.

55-year-old Shawnee man James Chadwick Cravens, the driver of the Honda, also died as a result.

Two of his passengers, a 54-year-old woman and a 16-year-old boy, both from Shawnee, were taken to the hospital via medical helicopter. The teenager suffered life-threatening injuries in the accident, while the woman sustained non-critical wounds.

OHP reports two-vehicle accident on I-35 near Waterloo

EDMOND, OK – Authorities with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported a collision on I-35 in the Edmond area yesterday afternoon.

The crash happened northeast of Edmond on southbound I-35, near E Waterloo Road, at about 12:25 p.m.

Two vehicles were involved in the crash.

The circumstances of the accident are unclear at this time, but OHP stated after the crash that the roadway was clear.

The conditions and identities of the drivers are unavailable at this time.

Two OKC residents killed in Nowata County multi-vehicle accident

LENAPAH, OK (NOWATA COUNTY) – Two people were killed in a multi-vehicle collision in Nowata County yesterday morning, according to a report by News 9.

The crash occurred near the intersection of State Highway 10 and Route 169 at about 8 a.m., when a vehicle pulled out in front of another car.

The second vehicle collided with the back of the first, which was then pushed into the left lanes in the impact.

The first vehicle then collided head-on with a third vehicle, causing it to partially overturn.

60-year-old Kimberly Schick and 64-year-old Larry Schick, both of Oklahoma City, were in the third vehicle.

Kimberly Schick died at the scene, while Larry Schick was taken to the hospital in Kansas, where he succumbed to his injuries at about 9:30 a.m.

The other two drivers were not reported as injured.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.
