OKC man dead after being ejected from motorcycle, falling off I-44 bridge

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A motorcyclist was killed after he crashed his motorcycle and fell onto a road beneath a highway bridge in Oklahoma City this afternoon, according to KFOR.

The accident happened on eastbound I-44 at about 1 p.m., when 40-year-old Oklahoma City resident William Looper, operating a 2000 Harley-Davidson motorcycle, went off the left side of the highway bridge.

He collided with a barrier and was then thrown from the bike and over the embankment wall. He landed beneath the bridge on Kelley Avenue.

Looper, who was reportedly not wearing a helmet when the crash occurred, died of injuries sustained during the crash.

No other people were reported as hurt.

Dog rescued from house fire in southwest Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – The Oklahoma City Fire Department rescued a dog from a house fire in southwest Oklahoma City this afternoon, according to the agency’s Twitter account.


The fire happened in the 2200 block of SW 24th Street before 3:33 p.m.

A dog was rescued from the structure and is expected to be alright.

Authorities said that nobody was home at the time of the incident.

The fire was out by 3:58 p.m.

Pedestrian dead after being struck by two drivers in SW OKC hit-and-run

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A pedestrian was killed in southwest Oklahoma City last night after being struck by two drivers, one of whom fled the scene, according to KFOR News.

The accident happened at the intersection of Kentucky and SW 59th at about 10:35 p.m., when a male pedestrian was struck by a driver who then fled the scene.

A second driver attempted to avoid hitting the victim, but was unable to stop in time and collided with him as well. The victim was then trapped beneath the vehicle and died of his injuries.

The second driver remained at the scene after the collision.

The identities of the victim and driver were not immediately released.

Authorities are searching for security footage from nearby businesses as they attempt to identify the hit-and-run driver and investigate the crash.

Truck driver killed in rollover accident in Major County

ISABELLA, OK (MAJOR COUNTY) – A truck driver was killed in a rollover accident in Major County yesterday morning, according to KTUL News.

The accident happened on Highway 8, near Isabella, at 10:33 a.m., when 55-year-old Lahoma man Thomas Warren Graham, reportedly made a turn at a high rate of speed.

Graham lost control of the semi-truck, and the vehicle overturned off the side of the road.

He died at the scene.

Two OKC residents killed in Nowata County multi-vehicle accident

LENAPAH, OK (NOWATA COUNTY) – Two people were killed in a multi-vehicle collision in Nowata County yesterday morning, according to a report by News 9.

The crash occurred near the intersection of State Highway 10 and Route 169 at about 8 a.m., when a vehicle pulled out in front of another car.

The second vehicle collided with the back of the first, which was then pushed into the left lanes in the impact.

The first vehicle then collided head-on with a third vehicle, causing it to partially overturn.

60-year-old Kimberly Schick and 64-year-old Larry Schick, both of Oklahoma City, were in the third vehicle.

Kimberly Schick died at the scene, while Larry Schick was taken to the hospital in Kansas, where he succumbed to his injuries at about 9:30 a.m.

The other two drivers were not reported as injured.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.
