Man dead after being crushed between two vehicles on 3rd St

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A man was fatally crushed between two vehicles following a separate rear-end crash in Oklahoma City early Saturday morning, according to KFOR News.

The crash happened in the 5800 block of SW 3rd Street near a Walmart at about 12:30 a.m., after a man crashed into the rear of another vehicle. The man was then standing in front of his vehicle and behind the struck car. A third driver then crashed into the back of the man’s vehicle, causing him to be crushed between his vehicle and the rear-ended car.

The man was pronounced dead after the incident. He was not immediately identified.

It is unclear if the other drivers were hurt in the crash.

Two people killed in early-morning head-on crash on Lake Hefner Pkwy

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Two people were killed in a head-on car accident that happened on Lake Hefner Parkway early this morning, according to information from KFOR News.

The collision happened in the northbound lanes of the highway between 122nd Street and Hefner Road at around 4 a.m., when at least two vehicles collided. A wrong-way driver may have been involved in the incident.

Two people were pronounced dead after the collision.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.

1 dead, 1 injured after multi-vehicle crash on I-40 in OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A 23-year-old was killed in a multi-vehicle pin-in crash on I-40 in Oklahoma City yesterday morning, according to KFOR News.

The crash happened on eastbound I-40, near Peebly Road at around 6:25 a.m., when 23-year-old Guthrie man Jake Sing, driving a 2014 Hyundai Elantra, drove off the right side of the highway and crashed into a 2005 Subaru Outback that was parked on the right shoulder.

The Elantra was then struck by a 2021 Toyota Tundra being driven by a 49-year-old man from Porum.

Sing was pinned within his vehicle as a result of the crash. After being extricated using the jaws of life tool, he was taken to the hospital in Oklahoma City, where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.

The driver of the Tundra was taken to a separate hospital in Oklahoma City, and then was later released.

Authorities continue to investigate the collision at this time.

4-year-old dead, driver injured after crash on Indian Nation Tpk

HENRYETTA, OK – A child was killed and a driver was injured in a crash on the Indian Nation Turnpike this afternoon, according to KTUL.

The collision happened at around 2 p.m. near the town of Henryetta, about 15 miles north of Hanna.

A 4-year-old girl died at the scene of the collision. The unidentified driver was taken to the hospital, where they were later released.

Authorities continue to investigate the crash at this time.

BRISTOW, OK (CREEK COUNTY) – At least one person was injured in a car crash on the Turner Turnpike north of Bristow this evening, according to information from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

The crash happened on the eastbound Turner Turnpike near mile marker 199 at about 9:48 p.m.

At least one person was reported as injured in the accident.

The roadway was blocked as a result of the crash. No details were immediately available on the cause of the accident or the scheduled reopening of the turnpike.

THE VILLAGE, OK – A mother and infant walking with a stroller were hospitalized after being hit by a driver in The Village on Friday morning, according to KOCO News.

The crash happened near Dublin Road and Essex Avenue as a driver was pulling out of a driveway, then crashed into a baby stroller being pushed by a woman.

The mother and the child were taken to the hospital for the treatment of undisclosed injuries.

Two people dead after car crashes into tree on Hwy 22 near Caddo

CADDO, OK (BRYAN COUNTY) – Two people are dead after their vehicle crashed into a tree on State Highway 22 in Bryan County yesterday morning, according to KOCO News.

The crash happened near Caddo on westbound SH-22 at 11:30 a.m., when the driver of a 2013 Chrysler 300 ran off the right side of the highway. The driver then collided with a tree and went over a creek, where it collided with an embankment.

The two occupants of the vehicle, 50-year-old Caddo resident Sharon E. Grinstead and 54-year-old Monte M. Mitchell, of Cary, North Carolina, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Neither was wearing their seatbelt when the accident occurred.
