OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – No injuries were reported after a car crashed into Brink Junior High Monday afternoon, according to FOX 25.

The incident occurred around 2:17 p.m. Monday afternoon. The class was empty at the time of the accident, according to officials, and the driver was unhurt.

Vehicle fire blocks lane I-35 in Logan County

LOGAN CO., OK – Troopers with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to a vehicle fire along I-35 Monday night.

According to a tweet from OHP, the incident was reported just before 9 p.m. within the southbound lanes of I-35 near Seward Road.

The cause of the blaze is unclear at this time. However, no injuries were reported as a direct result of the crash.

The outside lane was closed for around an hour, reopened at about 10 p.m.

28-year-old woman injured in Stillwater rollover crash

STILLWATER, OK – A woman was seriously injured following a single-vehicle crash just south of Stillwater early Monday morning.

According to the Ponca Post, the accident took place at about 1:60 a.m. along South Perkins Road near the intersection with East 70th Street.

Police say 28-year-old Elizabeth J. Cook, of Noble, lost control of her 2021 Jeep Wrangler for unknown reasons and rolled over a number of times before coming to rest in the roadway.

Cook was rushed to Stillwater Medical Center in critical condition then transported to OU Medical Center for further treatment.

Truck driver injured after load crushes him on Turner Turnpike

OKLAHOMA CO., OK –  A truck driver died after the load he was carrying fell on top of him along Turner Turnpike Saturday afternoon.

According to News 9, the incident occurred along the Turnpike about one mile east of Luther.

Troopers with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol say 37-year-old Mario Harrison stopped to check on his cargo. While he was assessing the unknown issue, the cargo shifted and fell on top of him.

Harrison was pinned under the load for an unknown amount of time. He died after sustaining injuries to his head, neck, and trunk.

Lane blocked following early-morning crash on John Kilpatrick Turnpike

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Troopers blocked at least one lane along the John Kilpatrick Turnpike early Friday morning.

According to a tweet by OHP, the accident occurred at about 7:41 a.m. within the westbound lanes of the turnpike near the exit to Western Avenue.

It is still unclear exactly what led up to the crash. However, no injuries have been reported as a result.

The left lane was blocked for just under an hour while emergency crews worked to clear the scene. All lanes have since been reopened.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – At least two lanes were blocked following a collision along I-35 early Thursday afternoon.

According to a tweet from the OHP, the accident occurred just before 1:30 p.m. in the northbound lanes of the interstate near the exit to Hefner Road.

It is unclear if any injuries were sustained as a result of the crash. However, the two left lanes have been blocked as a result.

Woman dies weeks after Cleveland County DUI crash

CLEVELAND CO., OK – A 35-year-old woman died nearly two weeks after being critically injured in a suspected DUI crash near Slaughterville.

According to News 9, the fatal crash occurred on March 26th shortly after 8:30 p.m. along US-77 at 60th Street.

35-year-old Kelli Kinman was in a vehicle traveling north on US-77 when a southbound truck veered into the oncoming lane and struck their vehicle head-on. Kinman succumbed to her injuries at the hospital on April 8th.

The at-fault driver, 47-year-old Bruce Underwood died as a result of his injuries on March 31st. Police believe he may have been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.

Injury crash shuts down all eastbound lanes on I-40

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Traffic delays were reported in west Oklahoma City following a collision on I-40 Thursday afternoon.

According to a tweet by OHP, the accident took place at about 10:34 p.m. within the eastbound lanes of the interstate near the Council Road overpass.

The cause of the crash is not mentioned in the report. However, at least one person sustained unknown injuries as a result.

The eastbound lanes within this portion of I-40 were shut down for about 45 minutes. All lanes were reopened at about 11:15 a.m.
