OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Four people were pulled from a residential fire in southwest Oklahoma City early Thursday morning.

According to News 9, the fire broke out sometime before 4 a.m. at a home near the intersection of Southwest 25th Street and South Villa Avenue.

Thanks to quick action by Oklahoma City firefighters, four people were pulled from the home before sustaining any serious injuries.

It is still unclear exactly what sparked the blaze.

Fire crews in southwest OKC battle mobile home fire

According to KFOR, the fire was reported at about 10:40 a.m. near the intersection of Southeast 134th Street and South Hiwassee Road.

Fire crews were able to keep the fire contained after it had spread to the surrounding grassy area. Luckily, the two occupants in the home were able to escape without injury.

Man killed following shed fire in south Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A man was found dead following a shed fire in southeast Oklahoma City early Saturday morning.

According to KOCO, the fire was reported at about 8:30 a.m. at a residence within the 300 block of SE 49th Street, near the intersection with South Shields Boulevard.

Firefighters say the shed was completely engulfed in flames. Bystanders told firefights a second person could have been inside. However, only one man has been confirmed dead at this time.

3 injured after explosion at pizza shop in Jones

JONES, OK – Several people were injured following a flash explosion at a local business in Jones Thursday.

According to News 9, the explosion took place at the pizza shop within the 9000 block of North Hiwassee Road.

Two people suffered burn injuries while a third was complaining of a back injury.

Fire officials battle early morning apartment blaze in South Oklahoma City
