The crash occurred within the intersection of Southwest 108th Street and South May Avenue at about 1:13 p.m., according to the Oklahoma City response and accident tracker.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Emergency services in downtown Oklahoma City have reported injuries as the result of a collision northwest of downtown Tuesday evening.

Lanes closed on I-40 following rush-hour crash

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Officials in Oklahoma City were forced to close at least one lane along Interstate 40 following a rush-hour collision Monday evening.

The collision occurred shortly after 5:30 p.m. along I-40 near the Douglas Boulevard exit, according to the Official Oklahoma Highway Patrol Twitter page. 

No injuries were reported as a result of the collision. However, the closure caused a major traffic jam during Monday evenings rush-hour. All lanes have since been reopened as of Monday night.

Fatal bicycle accident in Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A bicyclist was killed in an overnight crash northwest of downtown Oklahoma City Thursday.

The incident occurred near the intersection of Meridian Avenue and Northwest 17th Street, according to KOCO. The driver involved in the collision remained at the scene and cooperated with Oklahoma City Police. No word on whether any charges will be filed has been released.

The identity of the bicyclist has not been released, as the family has not yet been notified.

Two people rescued after being trapped inside their vehicle in SW OKC

 OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Oklahoma City Fire Authorities pulled two individuals from their flipped car southeast of downtown late Wednesday afternoon.

According to News 9, the car was flipped close to the intersection of Southeast 119th Street and Stanley Draper Drive. Both individuals had to be extracted by fire officials and transported to local hospital via EMS.

Details regarding what may have caused the vehicle to flip over have not yet been released. The condition of those involved also remains unavailable at this time.
