OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Fire crews were called to the scene of an apartment fire northwest of downtown Oklahoma City Thursday morning.

According to Fox 25, the fire broke out at the Springhill Suites hotel within the 3200 block of West Memorial Road.

The blaze was contained to the first floor causing extensive smoke and water damage. Fortunately, all occupants were evacuated without sustaining any injuries.

Firefighters respond to injury collision on NE. 23rd St.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Firefighters responded to a serious collision with injuries northeast of downtown Oklahoma City Wednesday morning.

According to the Oklahoma City response and accident tacker, the incident took place at about 10:41 a.m. within the 100 block of Northeast 23rd Street near the intersection with North Walnut Avenue.

It is unclear what led up to the incident at this time. However, at least one person sustained injuries as a result.

Motorists have been advised to avoid the area as delays are likely into early Wednesday afternoon.

Eight units evacuated after apartment building fire in SW OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – According to News on 6, OKC fire crews responded to a fire at an apartment building near the intersection of Southwest 74th Street and South Walker Avenue in southwest Oklahoma City on Friday morning.

Authorities say the fire started on the second story of the Windsong Village Apartments. The residents of eight units were evacuated.

There were no reported injuries.

Investigators are still working to establish a cause and estimate damages.

Fire crews respond to fatal house fire in NE OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Firefighters responded to a fatal house fire in the Dodson Height area this morning, KFOR reports.

Emergency responders were alerted to a conflagration near the intersection of N Bryant Avenue and NE 18th Street shortly before 5 a.m. Firefighters arrived at the scene and conducted an initial sweep of the house, but could not find anyone present. However, a second search led them to a male resident who was suffering from severe smoke inhalation.

Paramedics transported the man to a nearby hospital, where he died later that moment.

Fire crews were able to extinguish the blaze, but not before it damaged half the structure. Investigations into the incident are ongoing.

The collision occurred on Northeast 50th Street near the intersection with North Lincoln Boulevard just before 3 p.m., according to the Oklahoma City response and accident tracker.

Tulsa car fire destroys an SUV

TULSA, OK – Officials with the Oklahoma City Fire Department are unsure what caused the fire that completely totaled an SUV near downtown late Wednesday night.

According to News 9, the fire was reported near the intersection of 11th Street and East Skelley Drive shortly before 12:00 a.m.

Fortunately, no one was injured as a result of the fire. Details regarding what may have caused the SUV to burst into flames are still under investigation.

The owner of the SUV has yet to be identified as of Thursday evening.

Southeast Oklahoma City home destroyed in fire

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Fire officials in Southeast Oklahoma City responded to a fire that completely engulfed a residence early Sunday morning.

According to News 9, the blaze began shortly before 3:00 a.m. at a house near Southeast 51st Street and South High Avenue.

Luckily, no one was inside of the house at the time of the fire. However, officials are reporting a total loss of everything inside of the home at this time.
