OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Troopers with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol arrested a male suspect following an overnight hit-and-run accident Tuesday.
According to News 9, the accident occurred within the westbound lanes of I-40 near the Rockwell Avenue exit sometime before 3:00 a.m. Troopers say the man was traveling the wrong way on the freeway when he collided head-on with a truck.
The driver immediately fled the scene of the crash.

As previously reported, the crash occurred near the intersection of Northeast 23rd Street and Martin Luther King Avenue around 1:20 a.m. Jovohn Burton, 32, was struck by a vehicle that subsequently fled the scene without notifying authorities, according to KFOR.

According to KXII, 30-year-old Beau Jared Barker of Ada was hit while traveling on the Interstate 240 westbound ramp near Interstate 40 at about 12:30 a.m. Barker was driving in the outside lane when he was struck by an unidentified vehicle, which subsequently fled from the scene.
Officials are seeking any information that may lead to an identification of the hit-and-run suspect in this case.

According to KOCO, the incident was reported shortly after 4:00 a.m. along Walker Avenue near the intersection with Southwest 50th Street.
The victim was struck while walking with a shopping cart and was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The driver fled the scene and is still on the run as of Friday evening.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Officials in Oklahoma City are on the lookout for the perpetrator of a deadly early morning hit-and-run on Monday.
According to KFOR, emergency services responded to reports of a woman hit by a vehicle around 5 a.m. to an area near Southeast 29th Street and High Street. The victim was pronounced dead upon paramedics’ arrival at the scene.
There were no eyewitnesses, but a nearby security camera caught an SUV fleeing the scene.
Police have not made any identifications with regards to the victim or suspect as of yet and are seeking the public’s help in identifying the driver.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Police in Oklahoma City are continuing their search for the suspect in a May hit-and-run that critically injured a bicyclist.
The crash occurred on May 28th at about 12:00 a.m. near the intersection of Northwest 10th Street and MacArthur Boulevard. The bicyclist was taken to a hospital in critical condition where he still remains today.
According to KFOR, the vehicle in question is a Chevy Trailblazer, likely pained gold or silver with damage to the front passenger side, as well as a broken headlight and mirror.
