Teens on dirt bikes near Mustang injured after leading police on chase

OKLAHOMA CITY – Two teenagers were injured early Monday morning after leading police on a chase near Mustang, reports KFOR.

The chase began around 3 a.m. when police attempted to stop two teenagers and it ended when the teens drove off a bridge and into a river near the intersection of Southwest 104th St and Cimarron Rd.

According to officials, both teens were transported to an area hospital. Their current condition is unknown

Motorcyclist in Coweta dies after crash

COWETA, OK – A crash in Coweta claimed the life of a motorcyclist Tuesday evening, reports KTUL.

Levi Boley, 37, was riding his motorcycle without a helmet on southbound 273rd East Ave. At around 9 p.m., Boley overturned his motorcycle on the part of 273rd East Ave south of 151st St. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

The cause of the accident is not known at this time and is currently under investigation.

ATV driver crashes in Rocky Point, injures himself and passenger

ROCKY POINT, OK – Two people were injured after they were thrown off their ATV on Wednesday, reports Tulsa World.

Dustin T. Barney, 26, was driving the ATV and Ashley C. Stowers-Rector, 33, was the passenger.

Sometime on Wednesday, they left the roadway at the intersection of 690 Rd and 313 Ct and struck a culvert, launching the two off the vehicle.

Stowers was taken via Lifeflight to St. John’s Hospital hospital in Tulsa. She is in critical condition and has substantial injuries to her legs, arms, and head.

Barney was taken by Wagoner EMS to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa with a leg injury. He has since been released

Police are still investigating the incident.

OKC firefighter killed in motorcycle crash near Moore

MOORE, OK – An Oklahoma City firefighter was killed as the result of a motorcycle accident on Thursday.

According to News 9, Cpl. Chad L. Hyde was involved in a serious motorcycle collision in the Moore area.

Hyde was rushed to OU Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

The circumstances leading up to the crash remain under investigation as of Friday afternoon. The precise location of the crash has not yet been made available to the public.

20-year-old man injured in motorcycle accident near Garber

GARBER, OK – Richard Dylan Staerkel, a 20-year-old from Garber, was hospitalized following an early morning motorcycle accident east of of Enid.

According to The Enid News and Eagle, the accident occurred along a private driveway near U.S. Highway 412, about 2 miles west of the intersection with Oklahoma 74, at around 1:30 a.m.

Staerkel did not allow enough time for an automatic gate to open and rammed into it on his 1997 Harley-Davidson motorcycle. He was taken to Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City and is in stable condition with injuries to his head and arm.

Early morning motorcycle crash injures two

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Oklahoma City officials are investigating an early morning motorcycle crash that ended with two people being transported to the hospital.

According to News9, the incident occurred around 1:00 a.m. Wednesday morning close to the intersection of Southwest 59th Street and Interstate 44 eastbound.

No update has been provided on the two people involved in the crash or how it may have occurred.
