Driver critically injures motorcyclist at SE 44th St and I-35

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A driver ran over and injured a motorcyclist Thursday night at SE 44th St and I-35, KFOR reports.

Police initially told reporters that the victim died in the incident. However, they now say that the motorcyclist is in critical condition.

The victim was run over by a truck. It is unclear what kind of truck it was. It is also unclear if they were charged or cited for anything concerning the crash.

Teen driver strikes, injures motorcyclist on 61st St

TULSA, OK – A 16-year-old driver of a white sedan struck and injured a motorcyclist on 61st St near Hwy 169 Monday, News on 6 reports.

The incident began when the teen tried to merge onto Hwy 169 from 81st St and became agitated when a female driver would not allow him in.

The woman then went behind the teen to write down his license plate number. The teen sped up and got off onto 61st St, where he struck a motorcyclist who was about to make the left turn.

First responders hospitalized the motorcyclist. His current condition is unclear, though officials expect him to live.

Police say they will cite the driver for reckless driving and other offenses.

Motorcyclist fatally strikes bridge culvert near OK 112 and Morris Loop

ROCK ISLAND, OK – A motorcyclist died, and his passenger was injured following an accident on OK 112 near Morris Loop Monday, OKW News reports.

Jeffery Price, 58, was operating a Harley Davidson motorcycle with Rose Price as his westbound OK 112. Price ran the stop sign at the intersection with Morris Loop, left the road, and struck a bridge culvert.

EMS crews arrived on the scene around 7:10 p.m. and pronounced Price dead. They hospitalized his passenger in critical condition with injuries to her legs, trunk, and head.

1 killed in Broken Arrow motorcycle crash on Elm Pl

BROKEN ARROW, OK – A motorcyclist died from the injuries they sustained after colliding with a car on Elm Pl Saturday, according to Fox 23.

The wreck occurred Saturday on the part of Elm Pl between Jasper St and Tucson St. First responders arrived on the scene around 9 a.m. and pronounced the motorcyclist dead. The driver of the car suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Officials have not yet released the name of the victim. Police are investigating to see whether or not speed played a factor in the incident.

2-vehicle collision near Treadwell Hills kills 1

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A crash between a motorcycle and another vehicle killed one person early Monday morning near the community of Treadwell Hills, reports News 9.

The crash occurred near the intersection of SW 44th St and Portland Ave. First responders were dispatched to the scene after receiving reports of the accident around 2 a.m.

Following the accident, one driver was taken to a nearby hospital where they died.

Claremore man killed in single-motorcycle crash

ROGERS CO., OK – A man from Claremore was killed after crashing his motorcycle on a busy freeway Sunday afternoon.

According to News on 6, the accident took place at about 3:30 p.m. along State Highway 66.

First responders believe 53-year-old David Horton lost control of his motorcycle for unknown reasons and left the roadway, striking the center median.

Horton sustained a massive head injury and was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

Doctor receives 17-years for DUI

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – An Oklahoma City cardiologist has been sentenced to 17-years for a DUI incident on I-35 that killed a motorcyclist in October 2018, KOKO5 reports.

Bryan Perry was sentenced to 15 years for first-degree manslaughter, one year for driving under the influence, and one year for obstruction and fleeing the scene.

Perry struck and killed Nicolas Rappa on his motorcycle while intoxicated. Perry was reported to have had 13 scotches before driving.

The defense argued that Perry could not see Rappa due to his dark motorbike and weather conditions.

The accident occurred on I-40 near Pennsylvania and May Avenues.

Man injured after motorcycle collides with tree

An 18 year-old man was taken to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas after suffering serious injuries when his motorcycle collided with a tree in Mead. According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the teenager was speeding on Ranchette Road when he lost control on a curve last night.

Troopers say the cause of the accident was unsafe speed. The motorcyclist could have prevented extensive injuries if he was wearing a helmet. He is currently in stable condition with head and abdominal injuries.

This is the second motorcycle accident this week. A 29 year-old man was seriously injured Monday night after his motorcycle hit a car Highway 69-75.

Man Killed in Oklahoma Motorcycle Accident

A man was killed in an Oklahoma motorcycle accident Tuesday.

According to officials with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 59 year-old Allic Carlos Lack was killed in a motorcycle accident on Interstate 35, northeast of Wynnewood in Garvin County. The accident occurred shortly before 5:30 a.m. Tuesday.

According to the accident report, Lack was riding a motorcycle south on Interstate 35 when he lost control of his bike and crashed on the shoulder of the highway. Lack was then struck when the driver of a tractor-trailer swerved to avoid the motorcycle in the road.

Lack was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. His passenger, 45 year-old Pauls Valley resident Harriet Ann Lack refused medical treatment. Neither biker was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

The truck’s driver was not injured, troopers said.
