Dump truck falls on man behind gas station at 16400 N Rockwell Avenue

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A man was trapped and injured when a dump truck fell on him behind a gas station Tuesday morning. The accident happened at 16400 N Rockwell Avenue in northwest Oklahoma City, reports  News 9.

The man was working underneath the truck when it fell on him.  Emergency crews consisting of firefighters and paramedics responded and freed the man from under the truck with the help of pedestrians at the scene.

The victim’s condition is unclear at this time but he was talking to firefighters after being extricated.

Driver injured in 2-semi accident in Harper Co.

HARPER CO., OK – A man was injured yesterday when two semi trucks collided east of Laverne, KSCB reports.

47-year-old Billy Leon Forer III was driving his 2019 Freightliner west on US 64 when an eastbound 2012 Kenworth crossed into his lane. Forer attempted to swerve out of the way, but the two trucks collided, sending Forer’s vehicle into a ditch on the south side of the roadway and the other truck into a ditch on the north side.

Forer was unhurt following the collision. The other driver was taken by ambulance to Harper County Memorial Hospital in Buffalo and then flown to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City for further treatment. He has been identified as Thomas Allen Stephens, a 77-year-old resident of Guymon.

One dead, others injured in multi-vehicle collision

PITTSBURG COUNTY, OK – Investigators with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol are looking into the cause of a crash that killed one and injured four Sunday.

According to News on 6, the crash occurred around 1:00 p.m. when two pickup trucks, a Chevrolet and a Dodge, crashed into each other along US Highway 270 near McAlester.

Loyd Sales, 70, was pronounced dead inside his Chevrolet when officials arrived at the scene. A passenger was transported to St. Francis Hospital and is in stable condition.

The occupants of the Dodge truck were all taken to McAlester Regional Health Center with minor injuries and have since been released.

No information regarding the cause of the crash has been released as of yet.
