Teen and 2 children dead, 4 injured in Payne Co. multi-vehicle crash

PERKINS, OK (PAYNE COUNTY) – A 19-year-old and two children were killed, and four other victims were hospitalized following a multi-vehicle collision in Payne County late last night.

According to KOCO News, the crash happened west of Perkins on State Highway 33, near Cottonwood Road, at about 10:45 p.m., when multiple vehicles collided.

19-year-old Braden O’Rourke, a 4-year-old child, and a 7-year-old child were pronounced dead at the scene.

A 19-year-old woman from Del City and a 20-year-old Guthrie woman were taken to OU Medical Center for the treatment of critical, serious injuries.

A 3-year-old child and a 21-year-old man were taken to the same hospital in stable condition.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.
