Fatal single-vehicle rollover crash reported on Oklahoma 113

PITTSBURG COUNTY, OK – A rollover crash on OK 113 took the life of a man Tuesday afternoon, KTUL reports.

Lawrence Snow, 59, was driving a northbound OK 113 when he failed to negotiate a turn and left the roadway. His vehicle rolled once, ejecting Snow in the process, before landing on its wheels.

Where and when the crash happened is unknown at this time.

Teen critically injured after striking embankment near Fairfax

FAIRFAX, OK – A 14-year-old girl was injured after crashing into an embankment on August 29, Pawhuska Journal-Capital reports.

Investigators believe the teen was driving a Nissan Altima on State Hwy 18, about 2 miles north of Fairfax, when she took a turn too fast and left the roadway. She then over-corrected, causing her vehicle to leave the roadway again and crash into an embankment.

The impact caused the vehicle to roll over, pinning the teen inside. She was extricated by the Fairfax Fire Department around 7:50 p.m. and transported to St. Francis Hospital in critical condition.

Rollover accident reported in Midwest City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A car was reported overturned in an accident in the Midwest City area of Oklahoma City on Thursday morning.

According to the tweeter feed of TTN Oklahoma City, the accident happened on Southeast 29th Street east of South Douglas Boulevard at about 5:10 a.m. It was reported that one vehicle overturned in the crash.

There is no word on whether anyone was injured in the accident.

The area was quickly cleared and traffic was about to move freely again.

Grandfield man dies after single vehicle crash on U.S. 70

COTTON COUNTY, OK –  A Grandfield man died following a single-vehicle accident that occurred early on Tuesday morning. According to reports, the crash occurred at 8:57 a.m. on U.S. 70,  about two miles east of Devol and eight miles west of 2480.

The victim, 64-year-old James Kinzer, was driving his 2006 Ford F-150 when he failed to make a curve and the vehicle left the roadway, rolling over once. First responders rushed him to United Regional Hospital where he was admitted in critical condition with injuries to the head, internal organs, and limbs. He was pronounced dead later on that day.

Investigators say the victim was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, even though his vehicle was equipped with working restraints.
