Crash near Southern Hills hospitalizes two

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A crash near the Southern Hills neighborhood of Oklahoma City early last week sent a married couple to the hospital, reports News 9.

Darrell Smith and his wife Melissa Green were traveling east on I-240 when their 2003 Toyota Tacoma began to hydroplane on the wet road surface. The truck spun into oncoming traffic near Pennsylvania Avenue and collided with a concrete barrier, ejecting Green onto the roadway.

Emergency responders rushed the couple to OU Health, where Green remains hospitalized as of July 5.
