TULSA, OK – Officers in Tulsa were called to the scene of a car crashed into a residence late Tuesday night.

According to News on 6, the accident was reported at about 10:30 p.m. at a home near the intersection of 31st Street and Memorial Road.

Investigators say the car slid off the road due to icy conditions and crashed into the side of the home after skidding through the front yard.

Neither the two men in the vehicle nor any occupants in the house were seriously injured as a result of the crash.

Driver crashes into ditch after being grazed by bullet in Tulsa

TULSA, OK – A man crashed into a ditch after being shot at several times in a Tulsa neighborhood Thursday night.

According to Tulsa World, the undefined male victim noticed a suspicious vehicle outside of his girlfriend’s house near the intersection of Pine Street and Peoria Avenue shortly after 9 p.m.

The man drove past the house and continued down the roadway as the second vehicle began to follow him. Moments later, one of the occupants fired about 12 shots in the direction of the victim, striking the vehicle twice.

One shot grazed the driver’s hip causing him to careen into a roadside ditch within the 1500 block of East Reading Street. He was injured but declined medical treatment. He was uncooperative with police leading them to have no identifying information with regard to the suspect.

Suspect involved in hit-and-run accident on Hwy 412 arrested

TULSA, OK – Police tracked down and arrested a man who fled the scene of an overnight accident on Highway 412 west near South 65th West Avenue on Tuesday, reports KTUL.

According to authorities, the crash occurred around midnight Tuesday when a Ford F-150 traveling westbound on Hwy 412 collided with the center median of the highway near S 65th W Ave. Following the accident, the driver fled on foot while a passenger remained injured in the vehicle.

A police helicopter then located the fleeing suspect, leading to his arrest.

At this time, the identities of the driver and passenger have not been released. The current condition of the passenger is also unclear.

Driver dies after crash, vehicle fire in Tulsa

TULSA, OK – Firefighters responded to a single-vehicle accident overnight Sunday that resulted in a fire that killed its driver, according to News On 6.

The crash happened close to the intersection of East 101st Street and South Yale Avenue shortly after midnight. Firefighters arrived on the scene to find a man trapped inside a Chevrolet Camaro that had crashed into a tree and caught fire. Unfortunately, they were not able to extricate the man in time, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

A bystander said at the scene told authorities that they had tried to pull the man from the vehicle but that the flames had proven to be too hot.

Tulsa Police had not released the man’s identity as of Sunday evening. An investigation is ongoing.

OHP pursuit ends in crash on Creek Turnpike

TULSA, OK – A driver was arrested after leading Oklahoma Highway Patrol Troopers on a pursuit that ended in a crash on Monday.

The driver was confronted by the Troopers but fled. According to News on 6, there were warrants for her arrest, which may have been the reason she fled.

The driver spun out near the Turner Turnpike, at the Creek Turnpike and Interstate 44, and was arrested.

Texting and driving causes car rollover in Tulsa

TULSA, OK – A driver in Tulsa flipped his car between 41st Street and 145th East Avenue early Monday night.

According to KTUL, police found his vehicle upside down in a ditch. The driver was texting while driving and lost control of his car.

Hit-and-run sends one person to the hospital in Tulsa

TULSA, OK – Police in Tulsa are looking for a hit and run suspect who ran from an accident, leaving an injured passenger behind, near 13th and Utica.

According to KTUL, the suspect ran a red light and then hit another vehicle. They then got out of the car and ran off, while a passenger was still in the car.

The passenger was taken to the hospital. No one in the other vehicle was hurt.

Dropped wallet offers clues in Tulsa hit-and-run case

TULSA, OK – Police are looking for the driver who hit another vehicle at East Archer Street and MLK Boulevard on Monday and then fled the scene on foot.

News on 6 reports that the suspect was driving a Dodge Ram and crashed into a Jeep Cherokee after running a red light.

Police said that although the Dodge driver ran away, he left his wallet inside the vehicle. Police have not released the driver’s name.

TULSA, OK – A pedestrian was killed early Monday morning while he attempted to cross Highway 75. A semi truck hit the man, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Tulsa driver injured after being hit by fleeing shoplifters

TULSA, OK – A Tulsa driver was injured after an accident on Monday caused by a pair of would-be shoplifters.

According to News on 6, the incident began as a group of three people tried to walk out of a QuikTrip convenience store with beer they hadn’t purchased. A police officer in the store noticed the attempted crime and grabbed one of the shoplifters.

The other two thieves attempted to flee the scene in a dark-colored sedan, but collided with a minivan that was turning in front of them. The minivan’s driver was injured in the crash, as were both suspects.
