Man found dead after single-vehicle crash in Tulsa

TULSA, OK – Police in Tulsa are investigating after they found a man deceased in his vehicle following a single-vehicle collision late Thursday night.

According to KTUL, officers found the vehicle crashed near the intersection of 14th Street and Lewis Avenue.

Detectives say the unidentified driver sustained multiple gunshot wounds before crashing the vehicle. No other injuries were reported as a result of the crash.

Slick roads cause driver to crash into Tulsa home

TULSA, OK – Officers in Tulsa were called to the scene of a car crashed into a residence late Tuesday night.

According to News on 6, the accident was reported at about 10:30 p.m. at a home near the intersection of 31st Street and Memorial Road.

Investigators say the car slid off the road due to icy conditions and crashed into the side of the home after skidding through the front yard.

Neither the two men in the vehicle nor any occupants in the house were seriously injured as a result of the crash.

Driver crashes into ditch after being grazed by bullet in Tulsa

TULSA, OK – A man crashed into a ditch after being shot at several times in a Tulsa neighborhood Thursday night.

According to Tulsa World, the undefined male victim noticed a suspicious vehicle outside of his girlfriend’s house near the intersection of Pine Street and Peoria Avenue shortly after 9 p.m.

The man drove past the house and continued down the roadway as the second vehicle began to follow him. Moments later, one of the occupants fired about 12 shots in the direction of the victim, striking the vehicle twice.

One shot grazed the driver’s hip causing him to careen into a roadside ditch within the 1500 block of East Reading Street. He was injured but declined medical treatment. He was uncooperative with police leading them to have no identifying information with regard to the suspect.

Elderly woman hospitalized following Tulsa pedestrian crash

TULSA, OK – A Tulsa woman was rushed to the hospital after she was struck while attempting to cross the street near her home Friday night.

According to Fox 23 Tulsa, the incident took place within the 8800 block of East 31st Street.

Police say the unidentified 78-year-old woman was attempting to cross in a dimly lit area of the street when she was struck by an oncoming car.

The woman was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition. The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

Victim identified in fatal Logan County crash

LOGAN COUNTY, OK – Troopers with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol have released the identity of the woman killed in a collision on SH-33 last Tuesday.

According to KFOR, the accident took place shortly after 10:30 a.m. along SH-33 near the intersection with Pennsylvania Avenue.

Investigators say 79-year-old Barbara Heflin was traveling east on the highway when a 2020 Ford F-250 crossed the center line and collided head-on with her 2015 Chevrolet Impala.

Heflin was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver involved in the crash, a 32-year-old man from Guthrie, remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

Police listed “inattention” as the cause of the crash.

TULSA, OK – An accident in Tulsa left one person trapped in their vehicle for up to 45 minutes Monday morning.

A driver headed south on Lewis crashed into another car as it pulled out onto the road at 61st Street.

The Tulsa Fire Department told KTUL the victims of the accident are expected to recover.

OHP pursuit ends in crash on Creek Turnpike

TULSA, OK – A driver was arrested after leading Oklahoma Highway Patrol Troopers on a pursuit that ended in a crash on Monday.

The driver was confronted by the Troopers but fled. According to News on 6, there were warrants for her arrest, which may have been the reason she fled.

The driver spun out near the Turner Turnpike, at the Creek Turnpike and Interstate 44, and was arrested.

Injuries reported following multi-vehicle crash I-44

TULSA, OK – Officials with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol have reported at least one injury resulting from a two-vehicle collision on I-44 Friday morning.

According to the official Twitter page of the OHP, the accident occurred in the Westbound lanes of I-44 near Harvard Avenue at about 11 a.m.

Update: Driver hospitalized after crash on Tulsa IDL

TULSA, OK – One man was transported to a local hospital following a previously reported single-vehicle rollover crash in Tulsa Wednesday morning.

According to KTUL, the incident happened on the south leg of the Inner Dispersal Loop shortly before 8 a.m. when an unidentified driver lost control of his vehicle. Police say the cause of the incident was largely due to the wet road conditions and the driver’s high rate of speed.

The driver was taken to the hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries he sustained in the crash. No other injuries have been reported.

TULSA, OK – Officials in Tulsa responded to a rollover crash on the Inner Dispersal Loop early Wednesday morning.

According to News on 6, the accident occurred before 8 a.m. on the south leg of the IDL. Officials at the scene say the driver struck a wall before rolling their vehicle on its roof.
