TULSA, OK – A Sperry man was killed and another driver was hospitalized following a collision on U.S. Highway 75 near Owasso, reports News Channel 8.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol say troopers arrived at the scene at the intersection of U.S. Hwy 75 and 96th Street North at about 9:15 a.m. The crash occurred in the northbound lanes of U.S. Hwy 75.
Authorities identified the victim as 59-year-old Carl McCarty of Sperry, the driver of a Toyota Corolla involved in the accident.
McCarty sustained critical injuries and was transported a nearby hospital in Owasso, where he later passed away.
The other driver suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital in Tulsa.

TULSA, OK – A 71-year-old man from Broken Arrow was killed yesterday in a crash that happened near downtown Tulsa, according to Tulsa World.
Joaquin Vargas Conty was traveling west on I-244 when his Ford Fusion collided with another passenger vehicle near Peoria Avenue. Conty died as a result of the collision, while the other driver—a woman from Kansas—was unhurt.
Both motorists were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
Investigations are ongoing.

TULSA, OK – Firefighters responded to a single-vehicle accident overnight Sunday that resulted in a fire that killed its driver, according to News On 6.
The crash happened close to the intersection of East 101st Street and South Yale Avenue shortly after midnight. Firefighters arrived on the scene to find a man trapped inside a Chevrolet Camaro that had crashed into a tree and caught fire. Unfortunately, they were not able to extricate the man in time, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
A bystander said at the scene told authorities that they had tried to pull the man from the vehicle but that the flames had proven to be too hot.
Tulsa Police had not released the man’s identity as of Sunday evening. An investigation is ongoing.

OKLAHOMA, OK – One person died Friday morning in a car crash which also injured State Senator Allison Ikley-Freeman, according to News9.
Ikley-Freeman was returning to Oklahoma City for a legislative session when she and Enrique Lopez collided on the Turner Turnpike near the Bristow exit.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports that one of the vehicles likely hydroplaned, causing the accident.
Ikley-Freeman is being hospitalized for unknown injuries.
Lopez was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

TULSA, OK. – Tulsa Police are currently investigating a fatal crash that killed a woman and a child and left a man severely injured on Monday. According to News 6, the accident occurred at 51st and Yale, after a man stole beer from a Quik Trip and fled the scene, colliding with another vehicle. The driver was injured in the crash, and two passengers, a woman, and a child were killed. Authorities have not released any information on the condition of the occupants of the other vehicle at this time.
