Firefighters respond to residential blaze in Tulsa

According to KTUL, the blaze broke out at about 3:20 a.m. near the intersection of Pine Place and Union Avenue.

Four children and two adults were in the home at the time of the fire. They were all able to escape without sustaining any injuries. Firefighters were able to knock down the fire before the home could be permanently damaged.

Two homes damaged by overnight residential fire in East Tulsa

TULSA, OK – Two homes were damaged by an overnight fire that started at an East Tulsa residence early Monday morning, reports KTUL.

According to authorities, a home near the intersection of Interstate 44 and South Garnett Road caught fire around 1:30 a.m. while the owner was away.

Firefighters responded to the scene and were able to extinguish the fire, but not before significant damage had been done to the home. Additionally, a neighboring house was damaged by the flames.

Investigators are still working to determine the cause for the fire. If more pertinent details come to light, we will update this blog.

Several people left without a home after Tulsa apartment fire

TULSA, OK – Officials with the Tulsa Fire Department responded to an apartment fire that destroyed a number of units on Thursday.

According to News on 6, the fire occurred at an apartment complex near the intersection of 81st Street and the Riverside Parkway.

Fire investigators believe the fire was sparked as a result of a cigar or cigarette not being properly extinguished. Luckily, no injuries were reported as a result of the fire. However, several units were severely damaged by smoke and water damage.
