OWASSO, OK – One person was killed this morning in a head-on collision involving a motorcycle and pickup truck, according to Fox 23.
The accident occurred near East 76th Street North and North Mingo Road in Owasso, a northern suburb of Tulsa. Police arrived on the scene at approximately 7 a.m. and blocked off Mingo Rd. as they investigated.

TULSA, OK – Officials in Tulsa have reported that one man was killed following a motorcycle crash south of downtown late Wednesday night.
A 29-year-old motorcyclist was driving at an extremely high rate of speed on 71st Street when another vehicle pulled out in front of him. The car overturned following the collision, sending the driver and one passenger to a local hospital, FOX23 reports.
The motorcyclist was rushed to the hospital in critical condition and was later pronounced dead.

TULSA, OK – A motorcyclist was killed Friday night in an alleged street racing crash in Tulsa, according to KRMG.
The accident occurred around 9 p.m. at the intersection of 51st Street and Memorial Drive. Police say that Fred Winters was drag racing when the collision happened.
Winters denies the allegation.
He has been taken into custody for charges of second-degree manslaughter.
The victim is Thomas Jalbert, 51, according to a briefing by News on 6, who died after being taken to the hospital.
According to police, Jalbert was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and was speeding, but was not part of the race.
Police also say that coronavirus-related lockdowns may have contributed towards people wanting to get out and race on the streets.
