Teen motorcyclist hospitalized after crash on SW 89th St and May Ave

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A teenage motorcyclist was sent to the hospital following a collision with another vehicle in southwestern Oklahoma City this evening, according to News 9.

The crash happened near SW 89th Street and S May Avenue, when an 18-year-old motorcyclist collided with the back of a vehicle making a left turn.

The motorcyclist, a man who was not immediately identified, was taken to the hospital for the treatment of a broken leg. He is expected to make a recovery.

No other injuries were immediately reported.

Police believe the motorcyclist was speeding when the crash occurred.

The crash remains under investigation at this time.
