Tulsa man killed after stumbling into oncoming traffic

TULSA, OK – A pedestrian walking along a busy Tulsa roadway was struck and killed after he stumbled onto the street late Tuesday night.

According to News on 6, the victim was hit after leaving a local bar near the intersection of 15th Street and south 69th East Avenue at around midnight. The employees say he was not served alcohol and did not appear intoxicated at the time of his departure.

A female motorist came over the hill and hit the man, who had walked into the roadway in front of her vehicle. The driver stopped to render assistance to the man, who was pronounced dead shortly after.

No charges are expected to be filed against the driver involved in the crash, as police believe it to have been an accident.

The identities of either party involved in the cash have not been released pending further investigation.
