Tulsa man killed in collision on I-244

TULSA, OK – A man from Tulsa died as the result of a single-vehicle crash on I-244 early-morning crash on Thursday.

According to Fox 23 Tulsa, the incident occurred sometime before 6 a.m. near the exit to West 51st Street South.

Troopers say 45-year-old Mark R. Owens left the roadway for unknown reasons and struck a sign before colliding with a bridge support. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other injuries were reported as a direct result of the crash.
