Two dead after a motorcycle and car collision in Sand Springs

SAND SPRINGS, OK – Two people died after a car accident in Sand Springs late Wednesday.

The collision happened near 41st Street and Teal Ridge Road, near Highway 97, between a car and motorcycle.

Police chief Mike Carter told KTUL the car pulled out in front of the motorcycle. Carter also said the driver of the car will have to take a blood test because of the fatal accident.

KJRH confirmed the motorcycle struck the vehicle and News 9 reported that the two deceased victims were those on the motorcycle.

The deceased have not been identified.
