OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Two people were injured during a head-on collision in the downtown area last night, according to News 9.
The accident occurred near the intersection of I-40 and S Western Avenue at about 8 p.m., when a pickup truck and a car crashed head-on. One of the vehicles then caught fire as a result.
At least one person was trapped within the wreckage of the accident and had to be rescued by emergency crews.
Both drivers were taken to the hospital with undisclosed injuries. Their identities were not immediately released.
