TULSA, OK – Two women were hospitalized Tuesday afternoon after a police chase ended in a collision.

The Tulsa Police Department said the chase began when TPD attempted to conduct a stop involving the vehicle. The officer pulled over the car for not showing their license correctly. When another office was en route, the vehicle drove off.

News on 6 reported that the driver was going over 80 miles per hour when police stopped following the vehicle. Just after police stopped chasing the car, the driver lost control and the vehicle overturned.

The driver was ejected from the car and a passenger had to be removed from the vehicle by first responders. The condition of both women is unknown at this time.
