PONCA CITY, OK – Additional details have emerged regarding the fatal collision outside Ponca City that killed two and sent two others to the hospital on Sunday.

According to Fox 25, the collision occurred that morning on State Highway 11, between Waverly Street and Union Street. 73-year-old Jerry Johns’s Ford F-150 drifted from the highway’s westbound lane into its eastbound lane, where it collided with a 2015 Ford Expedition. Johns and the Expedition’s driver, 74-year-old John Holden, both died at the scene.

We also know more about the two injured. A 38-year-old and a four-year-old who were passengers in Holden’s vehicle received injuries not believed to be life-threatening. They were taken to Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City and OU Children’s Hospital, and were listed in fair condition at the time Fox 25’s story was published.
