Update: New details released on hit-and-run involving a Tesla near Bricktown

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – More details have been released regarding a hit-and-run incident involving a black Tesla in Bricktown Sunday morning, News on 6 reports.

It was originally reported that a black Tesla fled the scene after striking a person on a scooter. It now appears that the victims were two pedestrians.

The crash occurred near the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark on the 300 block of Johnny Bench Dr when Tommy Ugelan and a friend were struck by a Tesla Model 3 while walking home at around 3 a.m.

Ugelan says his leg collided with the vehicle’s side mirror. He suffered minor injuries in the crash while his friend remains in the hospital and will require plastic surgery.

Police are still searching for the Tesla. They believe its front and windshield are severely damaged. They urge anyone with any information in regards to the collision to contact them immediately.
