EL RENO, OK – The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is requesting information from the public regarding the fatal accident that killed four people on I-40 Saturday.

Authorities believe that 33-year-old Ashley Louise Ricks was intoxicated when she crashed her 2017 Jeep Renegade head-on into a 2003 Hyundai, killing its four occupants. The collision occurred in the westbound lanes of I-40 near Country Club Road.

According to News 9, police had been unable to question Ricks as of that evening, because she was still in intensive care at the time. They’re asking anyone who may have seen Ricks earlier that evening to come forward with information about her behavior in the hours leading up to the crash.
