UPDATE: State senator injured in highway crash is released from the hospital

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Oklahoma Senator Allison Ikley-Freeman has been discharged from the hospital after sustaining injuries in a crash that killed another motorist on the Turner Turnpike.

Ikley-Freeman was seriously injured on May 22 when her vehicle hydroplaned and crashed into another motorist who had also skidded off the road. The other motorist was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to Tulsa World, she has been transported to a local rehabilitation facility for the remainder of her recovery.
