UPDATE: Victim identified in fatal east Tulsa crash

TULSA, OK – Troopers have identified the man killed in a fatal collision in East Tulsa Thursday morning.

According to KTUL, 45-year-old Mark R. Owens, of Tulsa, was killed after crashing at about 3:45 a.m. along I-244 near I-44.

Troopers say Owens’ vehicle veered off the roadway for unknown reasons and struck a sign before colliding with a bridge support. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other injuries were reported as a result of the crash.
