UPDATE: Victim of fatal I-40 crash identified

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has released more information regarding the fatal I-40 accident that left one woman dead last Thursday.

As we previously reported, the fatal crash occurred on I-40 east near the Pennsylvania Avenue interchange on December 3.

News on 6 has since released more details regarding the accident. Authorities identified the victim as 36-year-old Samantha Early, a resident of Oklahoma city. According to state troopers, Early was traveling eastbound her vehicle drifted left and collided with the interstate’s center wall. Early was declared deceased at the scene.

At this time, the ultimate cause of the accident remains unclear. We will update this blog if further information is released.
