Update: Worker identified in fatal Tulsa construction site accident

TULSA, OK – Authorities in Tulsa have identified the man who suffered a fatal injury after falling several stories at a downtown construction site early Friday morning.

According to KJRH, 52-year-old Abel Garcia died shortly after 7 a.m when he fell at least five floors from the side on Denver Avenue at Cameron Street.

Coworkers say Garcia was not wearing the proper safety equipment prior to the fall. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
