Vehicle catches fire near Edwards Park

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Fire officials in Oklahoma City responded to reports of a vehicle catching fire on Northeast of downtown Friday evening.

The fire was first reported at 7:25 p.m. on Northeast 10th Street near the Interstate 35 southbound, according to the Oklahoma City response and accident tracker. No word on what may have caused the crash has been released as of yet.

This situation is still ongoing. Officials are advising motorists to avoid this portion of Northeast 10th St. through Thursday evening as delays are likely throughout Friday evening.
