Vehicle collides with utility pole in OKC, leaves thousands without power

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK  – Over 2,000 customers lost power after a single-vehicle collided with a utility pole southwest of Oklahoma City on Sunday evening.

According to KFOR, police responded to the crash near the intersection of Southwest 29th Street and South Eagle Lane around 6:38 p.m.

Upon arrival, fire crews worked to extricate at least one passenger from the vehicle. They were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of unknown injuries. The cause of the crash remains unclear at this time.
