Vehicle fire reported along I-40 in southwest OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A vehicle caught on fire while traveling along I-40 early Thursday morning.

According to News 9, the vehicle caught fire at about 1 a.m. within the westbound lanes of I-40 near the Agnew Avenue overpass.

Police say the driver attempted to veer out of the way of another vehicle and struck a barrier wall before the car burst into flames.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the fire.
