Vehicle fire reported north of Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Officials responded to a vehicle fire Friday afternoon that occurred on Interstate 44 near the Penn Square Mall.

According to the Oklahoma City response and accident tracker, the incident was reported at about 1:09 p.m. Friday. There is no word on the severity of the fire or if there were any injuries sustained by the driver of the vehicle.

Traffic will likely be slow in the westbound lane of I-44 at the Northwest Expressway while authorities investigate and clear the vehicle from the road.
