Vehicle fire shuts down all lanes on I-35 in Guthrie

GUTHRIE, OK – Firefighters were called to the scene of a major vehicle fire along I-35 late Thursday afternoon.
According to a tweet by OHP, the incident occurred at about 3:35 p.m. within the southbound lanes of the interstate near mile marker 150.

The cause of the vehicle fire is unclear at this time. However, troopers were forced to shut down all southbound lanes while emergency crews worked to extinguish the blaze.
All lanes were reopened to traffic at about 5:30.
