Victim identified in fatal high-speed Tulsa crash

TULSA, OK – Police in Tulsa have released the identity of the man who died as the result of a single-vehicle collision overnight Thursday.

According to KTUL, the incident occurred along Highway 169 between 31st Street and 41st Street.

Witnesses say a silver vehicle had been weaving in and out of traffic at a high rate of speed before it veered off the roadway and collided with a tree. Its driver was pronounced dead at the scene. He has been identified as Aaron Blackwell.

No one else was involved in the fatal crash.
