Woman Dead After Two-Vehicle Collision

A woman died after a crash, a January 14 article of News On 6 KOTV reported.

The incident happened around 11:00 AM, on Highway 75 near 231st Street South. 60-year-old Jennifer Rodgers was driving eastbound on 231st Street South when she failed to yield at a stop sign. Consequently, southbound 54-year-old driver Jerry Orcutt hit Rodgers’ vehicle. She was ejected from her Chevrolet Impala and was pronounced dead by an Okmulgee EMS paramedic. Meanwhile, Orcutt got his hand injured but was not sent to the hospital. The incident is under investigation.
