Woman hospitalized after driver crashes into Midwest City home

MIDWEST CITY, OK – A woman was injured after an allegedly intoxicated driver crashed into her home in Midwest City on Friday, according to KFOR.

The accident occurred near the intersection of Post Road and NE 23rd Street, when a driver collided with a single-story home.

A woman inside was knocked off her bed from the impact and was taken to the hospital with non-critical injuries.

The driver was taken into police custody on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and for not having a driver’s license.

The identities of the victim and driver were not released.
