Woman in wheelchair hospitalized after being hit by driver in Walmart parking lot

EDMOND, OK – A driver struck and injured a woman in a wheelchair while in a Walmart parking lot in Edmond on Friday afternoon, according to information from KFOR.

The crash happened near the Walmart on I-35 and E 15th Street at about 2 p.m., after a woman, who was not immediately identified, was struck by a driver.

The victim was taken to the hospital to receive treatment for minor injuries.

The cause of the crash was not immediately released, and no further details are available at this time.
