1 injured as cement truck overturns on I-35 SB offramp in Norman

CLEVELAND COUNTY, OK — One person was hurt Tuesday morning due to a rollover crash involving a cement truck on Interstate 35 in Norman, reports KOCO.

The accident happened on the offramp from I-35 southbound to the eastbound lanes of West Robinson Street.

According to Norman Police, a driver in a cement truck was trying to navigate a turn on the ramp when, for reasons still unclear, the truck rolled over.

Authorities listed the incident as an “injury accident,” but no details on the driver’s condition have been disclosed.

A section of the interstate was shut down as crews worked to clear the scene.
