WASHITA COUNTY, OK — A 32-year-old woman died Tuesday night after a two-vehicle collision on Oklahoma Highway 152 near east New Cordell, according to KFOR.

The fatal accident happened on the westbound highway just east of North 2260 Road, shortly before 8:00 p.m.

An early investigation indicates the woman was behind the wheel of a 2016 Lincoln MKX heading westbound at a high rate of speed when her car struck the back of a tractor. The impact of the crash sent the Lincoln off the roadway.

Officials pronounced the woman deceased at the scene.

At this time, no information regarding the other driver has been released.
