John Ditmars, III is a dedicated attorney who graduated with his Juris doctor degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 2021.
His career at Abel Law Firm began in 2017 as a student intern, where he found his passion for personal injury law by witnessing firsthand the impact it can have on the community.
A fourth-generation Oklahoman, John was born and raised in Oklahoma City. Having grown up in a family of lawyers, John witnessed firsthand the positive impact the practice of law can have on the community. Driven by a conviction that injured Oklahomans deserve compassionate and strategic advocacy, John discovered his purpose while interning at Abel Law Firm in 2017. After earning his Juris Doctor from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 2021—following a Bachelor’s in Economics at the University of Oklahoma—he seamlessly transitioned into a full-time attorney role, where his meticulous preparation and client-focused approach empower individuals facing complex personal injury claims.
Outside of the office, John cherishes quality time with his wife, Demi, and their golden retriever, Brooks. Embracing an active lifestyle, John enjoys golfing, fly fishing, and snow skiing. As a true Oklahoman, John is an avid supporter of OU football and the Oklahoma City Thunder basketball. John brings a fresh perspective and unwavering dedication to Abel Law Firm, enriching the team with his commitment to justice and his service to the community. His diverse interests and genuine care for others make him an exceptional attorney and a compassionate advocate for those in need.
